Fun, food, sweet decadence and sights of the Roaring 20s was the theme for the night at a recent open house event for a new wedding facility in town.
Who hasn’t thought of the idea of getting married in a home that reminds you of the classic 80s show, Designing Women? Visit the brand new wedding venue Denman Estates, a sister property of UIW’s Sky Room, and that is what you will think about. The beautiful grounds will make any couple feel like this is it, the place where you should be married.
In addition to a great venue, last week’s open house had some great food. It’s amazing how delicious food enhances an event. Whether you are having an intimate wedding of five or a large wedding in upwards of 5000, Rosemary’s Catering has you covered. They have a friendly staff and great food. If you happen to go see them, make sure to try their Southwestern egg rolls and ceviche.
Hand-made custom jewelry is more of an art piece to local deisgner, Jennifer Craft. Her line, Mystic Angel Creations, is made up of hand made pieces, that with the help of her mother, give you an unforgettable unique piece of art for your special day. She can make you a pair of earrings, a necklace or even a bracelet. Go a head and indulge and get all three for a uniquely custom line and make your wedding accessories like no other.
My evening was completed with a display of wedding cakes that made me even gasp. What couple wouldn’t want to feed each other a beautiful piece of cake? Sweet Elegance Cakes has beautifully designed cakes for any type of wedding decor. Just make sure if you decide to get playful with the cake and smush it into your now husbands face, that you save yourself a piece before. You won’t regret it.
Rounding out the night, and defnitely not to be forgotten, were a couple of great photgraphers I met that evening. Moments & Milestones Photography, who has recently added coordination to their list of talents and Bokeh Photography + Cinema was well represented. Their portfolios are terrific!
It was a wonderful night for this new wedding venue and we see great things in their future.
